LaurenBeth.net
2022-current: LaurenBeth.net was created in 2022 as a way to collect my various artistic endeavors in one space away from social media. My life has been spent in creativity and self-expression, and I see my ultimate purpose in life being to inspire others. It’s not that I believe my art (I use this word to encompass all types of art including music, dance, etc) is so good that it’s inspiring, rather, I hope that the act of continuing to create and express and share the results will inspire others to pursue their own passions, to know that art can be both devastating and joyful, and that everyone should feel free to be fully themselves in whatever creative way they please.

Deformative.net
2001-2011: My foray into web design began circa 1998, when my dad introduced me to Microsoft FrontPage and I created a website showcasing photos of cats from my “Petz: Catz” game. In 1999, I began a journal at Diaryland, and between the site and the journal I began to learn basic HTML and CSS structure and commands to design my pages. As I expanded my skills, I was able to leave the drag-and-drop design and began to create entire websites in via code in Notepad, especially with huge thanks to the now-defunct LissaExplains. Alongside this, I created all of my own graphics.
Deformative.net (original URL: liquid.resolidify.org) was started as a personal website in 2001 and kept active for 10 years. It was created at a time personal websites were popular, particularly amongst young artsy girls like myself. It included sections about me, song lyrics, poetry, photos, song downloads, links, and more, with most of the earlier layouts based on my favorite celebrities at the time Sadly, I never screenshot the earliest versions, but here are the ones I have!
